Halo are delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with World Snooker Tour to return as Headline Partner of the 2026 World Snooker Championship, held at the iconic Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
“After the huge success of the 2025 Halo World Championship, the tournament where China's first ever World Champion was crowned, we are excited to further commit to partnering with Matchroom for the World Snooker Championship this year. Barry Hearn, Steve Dawson and the whole Matchroom team understand Halo’s vision to become a leading British brand and we are excited to work with WST and PDC to make these two major events a success.’’

In an exciting expansion of the relationship, Halo has also agreed a deal with the Professional Darts Corporation to become an Official Partner of the 2026/27 Darts World Championship, beginning in December 2026. This move represents a strategic step into one of the fastest-growing global sporting events, introducing Halo to a hugely passionate darts fanbase. As a fundamental element of this partnership extension and evolution, Halo will become the Official Technology Partner of both the Snooker and Darts World Championships. Data and information from the events, powered by Halo, will be presented to fans on digital channels.
“We are delighted to welcome Halo again as the headline partner of our biggest event, the World Championship. They are a fantastic team who share our vision to engage with fans through the incredible drama and storylines that snooker creates. Last year, Halo were amazed by the extraordinary reach of this tournament to hundreds of millions of people worldwide, not least in China where Zhao Xintong’s triumph had a massive impact. Together we look forward to another wonderful 17 days at the Crucible with a new chapter to be written in the event’s great history.”
