An additional dropdown will then show to determine if the optional item has been accepted. Users can then choose which of the optional items they would like (and the quantity) when approving the quote and completing the approval fields. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Inline optional item selection is available from v2.253+, for information on this see the section "Inline Optional Item Approval".<br></span></p><p><br></p><p data-pasted="true"><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Show which Items are Optional</span></strong></p><p>Within the "Details Table" tab, add a column for "Optional". Here, ensure you add the "Optional Lines" field. Optional item configuration</span></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li data-pasted="true"><strong>Allow Users to adjust the quantity of optional items-</strong> When checked, after the user clicks "Accept" on the quote, from the self service portal, they will have the option to remove the optional item or change the quantity, this is done by clicking onto the item in the "Optional Lines" table. The "Optional lines" field we added is how the user is able to select these. When adding/removing/adjusting optional items the price of the line will update in real time to show the user the price implications of the optional item. Quote Approval Display Type</span></strong></p><p><br></p><p>Now you will need to adjust the details table of the template to include two new custom columns that allow users to toggle if the item should be included in the quote and toggle the quantity.</p><p><br></p><p>Add custom columns that contain the following cell content (do not include the underscores when using variables:</p><p>$_OPTIONALSELECT</p><p>$_OPTIONALQUANTITY </p><p><br></p><p>The "Quantity" column should be replaced with the custom $_OPTIONALQUANTITY column. For non optional items, this will display the quantity of the line item as set on the quote.
