This article explains the Bridges within the Major Incident Console in HaloITSM, which helps teams manage and document key communications necessary for resolving an incident. This feature is crucial for ensuring that all relevant discussions are logged and accessible.
The Bridges section within the major incident console is located just under the timers on the top right of the Major Incident Management Console.
Here, you can create a new bridge by clicking on the New button. This allows you to document any key communications, such as conference calls that are crucial for Major Incident resolution. Each bridge can be named and categorized, making it easier to track and reference later.
Additionally, you can have pre-defined values and on-demand notes written for each of the bridge entry. This feature is especially useful for Major Incidents that require coordination across multiple teams or external parties, as it ensures that all communications are logged in one place and can be reviewed as needed.
