Configuration > Asset Management > Asset Statuses
Asset statuses can be configured in the Asset Management module of the config. They are the different statuses you can give to an asset such as "Active", "Inactive", in order to describe the current state of an asset. A status can be set on each asset from the details tab.
Within Configuration > Asset Management > General Settings, you can set the "status of new assets", this will mean all assets created and imported (even via integrations) will have this status set. Note that if you are using the Intune integration, it will overwrite this. When importing assets, the column header status_id will overwrite the "status of new assets" if set. Check out this guide for importing assets: Asset Imports
